On this page, we publish the stages of the 1926 Tour de France week by week in their historical order

Each stage is presented in three parts:

a brief introduction to the stage town, a description of the route as it was at the time, and a stage report, supplemented by a short video featuring original footage and historical photographs from 1926.

(The main language of the articles is German, but we will be adding a tab at the bottom of each article that allows you to read the articles in French and English.)

 From July onwards, Christoph will be riding the respective stages in parallel; reports on these current rides will also be published here.

At present, however, the focus is entirely on the historical analysis and documentation of the 1926 Tour de France.
